THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN Part 1 is released on November 18th with a 12A certificate. The teen vampire/werewolf saga continues with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson expecting their first child, which in itself causes upset amongst the ranks. Expect more teen shocks and emotions in abundance in this highly anticipated installation!
JUSTICE has been given a 15 certificate and is also released on November 18th. Nicolas Cage (Con Air, Leaving Las Vegas, Lord of War) and Guy Pearce (LA Confidential, The Time Machine, Memento) star in this action thriller about a high school teacher whose wife is attacked. Expect twists at every turn and plenty of action set pieces in what looks to be one of the better Nic Cage offerings of late!
IMMORTALS 3D is out now with a 15 certificate. Quite bizarrely, this action adventure movie, aside from being released on 11/11/11 also has a running time of 111 minutes! This epic stars Henry Cavill (The new Superman) and Micky Rourke (The Wrestler, The Expendables, Iron Man 2) in a mythological feast of warring deities and humans! Expect Clash Of the Titans meets 300, with plenty of action set pieces and grit thrown in for good measure!
ARTHUR CHRISTMAS 3D is also out now with a U rating certificate. This family animation will certainly be a hit with kids and with A List voice talent from the likes of James McAvoy (X Men: 1st Class, Last King of Scotland), Jim Broadbent (Harry Potter Saga), Bill Nighy (Love Actually, Shaun of the Dead) and Matt Lucas (Little Britain, Alice in Wonderland), you can be sure of quality entertainment! Expect animated fun for the whole family!
THE RUM DIARY has been given a 15 certificate and is on general release now. Johnny Depp (Blow, Pirates of the Caribbean, Edward Scissorhands) returns to the world of Hunter S Thompson (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas) in this darkly comic drama directed by Bruce Robinson (Withnail and I). A journalist becomes more than a little out of his depth when he moves to Puerto Rico and embarks on a drunken adventure. If you liked Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, this is definately the film for you this week!IN TIME is out now with a 12A certificate, but keep an eye out for advanced screenings in days leading up to the 1st. This sci-fi thriller stars Justin Timberlake (Alpha Dog, Bad Teacher, The Social Network) and Cillian Murphy (28 Days Later, Sunshine, The Dark Knight, Inception). Over 25’s are literally out of time in this world and without money, the lead character in this film struggles to fight for survival! Expect action and suspense along the way! TOWER HEIST is also out now with a 12A rating as well as advanced screenings and is an action comedy with a huge star cast! Ben Stiller (Zoolander, Dodgeball, Tropic Thunder) and Eddie Murphy (Beverly Hills Cop Trilogy, Trading Places, Life) team up with some other folks who have been left penniless by a corrupt billionaire in order to steal back their money! Expect big laughs and inane slapstick at times! THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: SECRET OF THE UNICORN 3D is on release now with a PG certificate. This motion capture epic is directed by Steven Spielberg (Jaws, Close Encounters of a Third Kind, Jurassic Park) and produced by Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings, King Kong) so you know you’re in for a real treat! This eagerly awaited 3D adventure features the talents of Daniel Craig (James Bond, Defiance, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings, King Kong), Jamie Bell (Billy Elliott, Jumper), Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Paul). With all that talent in one place, this is sure to be a rollercoaster movie for the whole family! PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3 is out now with a 15 certificate. This horror sequel might just be the ideal choice for Halloween and will have you holding your breath and on the edge of your seats! If you are a fan of the first two instalments, then this film promises to round the frights off for good. If you missed the first two, I’d pop along for this anyway just for the supernatural chills you will gain on the big screen! JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN has a PG certificate and marks a return for Rowan Atkinson (Blackadder, Mr. Bean) in the role of the hapless secret agent. Expect lots of slapstick comedy and hilarious buffoonery by the bucket load! Gillian Anderson (The X Files) also stars!

2012 is shaping up to be an amazing year for movies with Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS due to hit screens in June. The eagerly awaited prequel to Alien is set to put ‘fear’ back into sci-fi and will star Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Rafe Spall, Guy Pearce, Ben Foster and Noomi Repace.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is released in July 2012 and will pit Tom Hardy’s Bane against Christian Bale’s Batman, in what is to be the final instalment of Chris Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Other stars signed on include Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Cillian Murphy and Anne Hathaway.
THE HOBBIT PART 1 is due for release in December 2012, with Peter Jackson once again taking the reins on Middle Earth. Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis star.
